We were able to make a trip to Disney World while we were in Florida. We went on Memorial day and had a wonderful time!! I had gone back in fourth on taking Ayden with us, but decided not to. So the babies stayed with my in-laws and my sister-in-law and nephew Brody joined JR, Tristan and I. We left around 530am and got home around 130am. A full day but very worth it. We got to ride just about every big ride at Magic Kingdom. The lines were not bad at all. The only ride we really had to wait in was the Peter Pan ride. Took forever, but was pretty neat. We plan on going back in a few years when the kids are older and making a vacation out of it. There is so much to do that you need about a week.

We had a wonderful Easter this year!! Started off the weekend with going over to our friends house on Friday to color Easter Eggs. The kids had a blast. We had some very cool looking eggs this year!

Sunday morning we woke up and gave the kiddo's their Easter Baskets and then got ready for church. Our church started 30 minutes later this year. It worked out perfect! After church we headed back to our friend Derek and Stacey's house for Easter Dinner. Ton's of family, friends and food. The day couldn't of went any better! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends!!

Tournament

We played in a tournament this past weekend and came out of it with 2nd place. Our boy's did really good for it being the very beginning of the season. I look forward to watching many more games. Student of the Month

Tristan was awarded student of the month for the month of March. We were so happy for him. He has done well in school all year academically and with very good behavior. The school has a school wide assembly to honor all the students in each grade that were awarded student of the month. A special Thank You to Papa Aldridge for coming all the way from Kansas to be apart of this special event for Tristan. It meant a lot to him and JR and I as well.

9 months old

Well today Mya had her 9 month well baby check. The doctor said she looks perfectly healthy and is right on track for where she needs to be. She is on the go all the time now. She is crawling all over the place, keeping me busy. She is still really long 28 inch long in the 87% and a little over 17 lbs kind of small for her age, but all my kids are, long and lean. She has been waving bye bye for a while now and started saying bye bye a couple of days ago. So cute. She knows her daddy and sure has him wrapped around her little finger. Just like a daughter should,lol. I thought this picture was cute of the two. Daddies little OU Princess.

Catch Up

Well, it has been forever since I have had the time or a computer to catch up with my blogging!! Don't really know where to start,lol. I guess I can start with J.R. J.R. finally graduated from OU back in December with his bachelor degree and we were so very proud of him. Over three long years of going to school sometimes four nights out of the week. It was a rough time for all of us but in the end well worth it and we are so happy for him. J.R. is no longer a contractor but works directly for the gov. now. He loves it and sees good things coming for our future. I can't express how proud I am of him for working so hard for our family!!
Tristan, is doing great!! He has had an awesome year of kindergarten! I can't believe how well he is doing. A couple months back they tested him for the gifted and talented program. His teacher pulled me aside and said she thought he would do great at it. He scored a 95% out of the nation among his peers in his grade.He needed a 97% to enter the program so they decided not to place any of their kindergartners this year. He will be tested again for possibly placement the beginning of first grade. We were still so proud of him for being recognized for his academics!! J.R. and I had always worried that he might struggle with school and need extra help with his work because of his speech delay from his hearing problems. He hasn't one bit and they don't think it will be an issue at all. He still struggles with his speech some but has come such a long way and we are so thankful for that!! Tristan, has also lost four teeth now. It makes me sad to see my first born grow up so fast. He is getting ready to start tball and I can't wait. He played last year and did so well with it. Looking forward to the season starting again.
Ayden, where to start with Ayden,lol. He is now two years old and so full of energy. I never new a child could have so much energy,lol. I guess he has to to keep up with his big brother Tristan. I am thinking of starting him in the mother's day out program next fall so he can be around other kiddo's his age. Ayden, is a little stinker. I tease him and tell him all the time that's why God made him so stinking cute. His eye's, they get me every time!! He is such a big helper with Miss Mya. He loves his sissy so much and is so good with her. Hasn't really showed much jealousy at all. He like to help me put her down for her nap and gives her kisses and says good night sissy uv u. So cute!!
Miss Mya Lynn. Aaahhh, my baby girl, my princess, my dream come true. I love my boy's to death they are my everything, but Mya melts my heart in a different way. Maybe it's because I never thought I would have my own little girl. As you can all tell by the pictures she is a mini me of daddy. Light skin and BLUE eye's. Never in a million years did I think I would have a little girl with blue eyes! She is so amazing, such a great personality already. She is a pretty happy baby and an awesome sleeper. God so blessed me with three kiddos that sleep good during the night,lol. I love to dress Mya up it's so much fun. Looking forward to sharing many more wonderful memories with her. She is now 9 months old. Seems like yesterday when I had her:(! Time flies by so fast!! She still hasn't cut her first tooth yet. To me this is a big surprise. Both my boy's had cut their first tooth by 4-5 months. The doc. said it's perfectly ok and that some babies don't cut until around a year. I never new that. She isn't walking yet, thank God!! But she sure is crawling all over the place. I am going a hundred miles an hour with the two little one's. Some days I feel like I am not cut out to be a stay at home mom, but for the most part I love it and the kids are great kids and I wouldn't want it any other way!! I love being able to stay home with them. I get to see every moment of them growing and I love to be able to share that with them.
Last but not least me...jk!! I am doing great! I have found some amazing friends that have touched my life in so many ways!! I am so thank full for each and every one of you!! You know who you are. My girls!! I just want to let you guys know that I am thankful for you always being there when I need someone to talk to. Lately my life has been crazy with family situations and I know if I didn't have you guys there to listen I would be a wreck. Love ya ladies!! Other then that not to much has changed. I am looking more into starting cosmetology school soon. I don't know exactly when, but hopefully in the near future!! I am so excited. It has been something that I have wanted to do ever since I was a child. Having kids and J.R. going to school full time has kind of made that difficult. Looking forward to finally getting to do something that I have wanted to do for a long time!! Well, I hope you are all doing well. Sorry, it has been so long. I am going to try and find the time to post pictures every now and then.

Tristan has started his first year of football this year. The team that we played tball for last season has a football team as well. So we thought we would give it a try and see how Tristan liked it. So far he likes it a lot!! I think he has his days where it's a lot for him with his school, but for the most part is doing really good with it! They all look so cute out there!

Kiddo's, Bday, football

Well, this month has been crazy busy for the Aduddell's!! Tristan, has started football and loves it! I am so proud of him and how well he is doing with it! It wears me out and I just sit on the side lines and watch,lol!! He also started all day school, with kindergarten and loves it! I can't believe how fast he is picking up on things! Ayden- Turbo is still going non stop! Got to love it though, keeps me young chasing after him all over the place,lol! He has started this new thing, where he loves giving baby sissy kisses now! We almost have to put a limit, because he would just keep on doing it :)!! Mya, OMG where do I start?! Growing like a weed and it makes me so sad to realize that this is it for the babies!! Not that I would want another one, nor could handle it, but you never get these years back!! Makes me sad. She is laughing now and smiles all the time. J.R. said,"she knows her momma," because when I walk into the room her face lights up and she starts to kick and get really excited!! Plus, she like momma milk, and is becoming a little chunk, so that could have something to do with it :)!!
I had my 28th birthday on August 26th. It was an OK birthday this year. And the only reason why I say that is I got extremely sick later that day!! There defiantly were some pluses to it though! I had an awesome lunch with Jeana, a good friend of mine! We went to Two Olives in Moore and it was so yummy! Thanks, again Jeana your the best! I also, received the sweetest gift from one of my good friends Sylvia. She knows me all to well,lol. She got me a little take along make-up case,love it girl!!
Friday night was fun, got to get out for the first time without all the kids for a lovely dinner at Nonna's in Brick town. We sat out on the terrace, it was such a beautiful night! Thanks, to all who made my birthday so special!! This post is dedicated to all my special friends, love you guys, and each and every one of you are such an important part of our lives!!

First Day of Kindergarten

Well, Tristan had his first day of kindergarten this past Thursday! He now goes to school all day!! Seems so hard to believe that my baby is almost six years old. He likes his teacher a lot, so hopefully this will be a good school year. I had to laugh at him, because he came home and said to me," mommy it's so much work, to much work mommy!" I just laughed and said, "hunny you are a big boy now and as time goes on you will get use to it." So cute!

It has been forever since my last post! I know now that I won't be able to make as many as I had before. My time is very limited with three,lol!!
I can't believe how fast the kids are changing!! Tristan is almost six years old, Ayden is 18 months old, and Mya is almost 6 weeks old. The time sure does fly. I love to see them change, but it also makes me so sad!! Tristan will be going into Kindergarten this next month. We finally got Ayden to say good bye to Mr.Paci,lol! He was so attatched to that stupid thing. It went a lot smoother then I thought, that was very nice. Mya, did the cutest thing the other day! She was sleeping and giggled in her sleep. J.R. and I both got to see it and thought it was the cutest thing ever. We are so happy to have them all in our life. I couldn't imagine it without them! Well, that's all I have time for today. Got to get busy with some laundry.

I had to say good bye to one of my good friends Stephanie and her family!! Her husband Charles was reassigned to a new duty station. Stephanie and the kids, Reagan and Abby left last Wed. Her husband stayed behind to close on their house. He will be joining them shortly in North Dakota. We will miss the Maerk family dearly, but wish you all the best in you new home in ND!!

Well, Mya is a week old today! My mom will be getting in tonight around 10:30pm, and I can't wait. I know she is so ready to meet her new grand daughter!! We are all doing well, just missing our boy's like crazy!! Tristan and Ayden will be getting home tomorrow night. The house is so quiet without them here,lol. Not quiet use to that!! Mya isn't going to know what to think when they get back. From what I hear Ayden is feeling much better and back to his busy little self. Here are a few pictures of this past week. Mya Lynn Aduddell

Mya Lynn Aduddell joined us on June 11th at 1:10pm. She weighed 6lbs.15oz and was 20inches long. She is absuletly beautiful. I couldn't of asked for a better labor!! We went in at 6:30am, started everything around 7am and by 1pm had a baby. I got to a five and started feeling the contractions so I asked for an epideral. That was probably the worst experience of this whole thing. He was a jerk. First of all he was very rude and didn't explain what he was doing when he was doing it. He caught me off gaurd when he was putting the cathider in and I jumped and he backed off rightaway. He told me I needed to hold very still. I said I know that, but you need to let me know when you are getting ready to shove something in my back. I guess their equipment guy ordered the wrong plastic tube they put in your back, so the one I got was very stiff and the one they are used to using is more flexible and easier to work with. It didn't do any damage, but I had to stay bent over so he could test the fluid to make sure it didn't mix with the spinal fluid, because that would of gave me a horrible spinal headache! After all was said and done I felt a lot better and was able to relax. I stayed a five for a lot of the labor so the nurse could tell she was side ways and that is why I wasn't dialating any more. She moved me to my right side for an hour and a half and the contractions became a little more reg. So then she switched me to my left side and said to us that it would probably be another couple of hours when I would make it to a 10. It was around 1230pm and JR was hungry so he went and grabbed lunch. So, I was laying on my side and started to feel a lot of pressure and contractions defianetly more intense. The nurse came to check on me and I told her what was going on. She checked me and I was complete!!JR was still gone at this time,so I started to pray that he would make it back in time!!. He walked into the room as they were setting everything up and couldn't believe that it happened that fast. The lady in the next room was at a 10 at the same time so my doctor was already in the hospital. She delivered her baby then came over and delivered Mya. It took maybe three pushes and then she told me to stop and she pulled her right out. No tears or anything. It was beautiful. She is beautiful!!! I took a lot of pictures the whole time we were there so brace yourself. We are at home now and all doing well. Tristan and Ayden are spending the week with my in-laws in Kansas, so we can get some rest. Keep Ayden in your prayers, because during all this he got pink eye in both eye's and has an ear infection. Poor little guy. It breaks my heart that I can't be there for him, but I know he's in good hands. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit or helped with the boys, and all those who are bringing food. It is so greatly appreciated!! We love you all and hopefully we'll see you soon.

I took the boys to get haircuts yesterday. Ayden, does pretty well, as long as he has a sucker to hold on to,lol. Poor Tristan was running a fever, so I wasn't able to get to many pictures of him. Ayden, loves the camera!! He will stop and pose for it and say cheese. It's the cutest thing.

38 weeks

A Nice Surprise

I had a good friend of mine from Hawaii visiting OKC this past week. Del City, was their home before Hawaii, so she decided to get away with her mom and her new preciuos baby Logan for a road trip. I was so shocked when I was walking through church on Sunday to her my name called out and to see that is was her. It was such a nice surprise. Chelse, Logan and her mom got to come and spend the day with us before they had to head back and we really had a nice visit. She was in my wedding back in 2001 and it has almost been that long since I have seen her.

I had to throw this one of Ayden in. Thought it was to cute. He is now 16 months!!

Pre- K Graduation

Well, Tristan has officially graduated pre-k and will be moving on to all day kindergarten next year!! I can't believe how fast this year flew by. He loves school, and is already asking me when he will be going back. I told him to enjoy his summer and not to rush it, because before you know it you will be graduating high school. Makes me sad just thinking about it! I look at him and can't believe what a handsome, and smart young man he is turning into. I can't believe my baby will be six at the beginning of the next school year. CRAZY!!! I am so proud of him and who he is becoming and can't wait to continue the next couple of years as he grows.

First Trophy

Tristan had a tournament a couple weeks back. He got his first trophy!!! The team we were suppose to play didn't show up, so we scrimmaged a 6u team. They did pretty good. I was impressed!! The team that was suppose to play after us, well there team didn't show up as well so we played them. It was the same age as our boy's. The Wolf pack did really well with that game. We are proud of our little men and we are looking forward for the season starting. We have our first game tonight!!

Bench Warmer

Well, Tristan got to be an OKC Thunder bench warmer a couple of weeks ago. A friend of ours from church couldn't make it to the game so she gave us four tickets and the opportunity for Tristan to go down on the floor before the game and watch them warm up. He sure did enjoy it. It was his first B-ball game that he has ever been to, so needless to say he was loving it!

Field Trip

We had a field trip today at a hands on children's muesuem in Seminole!! The coolest place I have ever been to for kids. We had a blast. There was so much for the kids to do. It's about a hour away, but so worth it, if you ever get a chance to go! We will defianetly be going back with daddy some time. I loved it.

Tristan had a project he had to turn in this past Monday. Ms. Hahn his pre-k teacher sent home a paper with a picture of a bunny on it! The kid's had to decide how they wanted to decorate their bunny. Tristan, love's his action hero's so he chose spider man. This was a family project so daddy helped draw it out and Tristan colored and put the glitter on! I had to stop my hubby because I thought he was going to take over the project! He was having way to much fun with it,lol

I told him to make sure and put it under his pillow so the tooth fairy could leave him some money. Well, wouldn't you know that darn tooth fairy forgot to come,lol!! He woke up this morning and came into my room and said, "mommy the tooth fairy didn't come last night!!" I said, " he didn't?!!" "Well, he must of got caught up in some bad weather with the snow coming my dear!!" I told him he would defiantly be there tonight!! Boy, he sure better remember this time, don't think I could pull that off two days in a row,lol!!

Truck for SALE!!!

Taco Salad!!

I made Taco salad the other night and they turned out so yummy!!I make taco salad a lot for the family, but I have never actually made the shells. I baked the tortillas in the oven with a little bit of Chile powder on the outside. All I can say is this will defiantly go down in the recipe book, yum, yum! Brody, my nephew had his first soccer game this past Saturday, so we were able to go to that. It sure was a lot of fun!! Especially when they are 3 years old, so cute to watch!! Grandma Aldridge Funeral

J.R.'s Grandma past away this past Thursday. So we headed to Kansas to spend the weekend with his family. We headed back Sunday morning to get ready for the funeral in Seminole that Monday morning. It was a crazy busy weekend. I hate that it takes funeral's, weddings and re-unions to get the whole family together. Although, considering the circumstance it was really nice to see everyone and meet some new family members. I didn't know his Grandma really well, because she has been in a nursing home since J.R. and I have been married. The stories that I have heard though she was an amazing lady that truly will be missed. She is in a better place and no longer suffering, and for that I am happy for her. You will truly be missed Grandma Aldridge!! We love you!!!

Color Change

Well, I decided it was time to get rid of the highlights and go for all one color!! The girl I usually go to is all the way out at Eden Salon off of Warrick Drive. I called to set up an apt. and she couldn't get me in until the end of March. If you have seen my hair lately, you would know that it couldn't wait. So, I text a few people asking them if they new of anyone they would recommend. Jeana, was a life saver when she gave me the lady that she takes Aub to. I couldn't be more happier with the results! She did an awesome job and very reasonable. Thanks Jeana, good recommendation!!

I am naming this post family night, simply because we don't get to experience many nights like this!

Right now J.R. is in school full time at OU. As you can imagine he has his hands full with a full time job, full time school, and full time family :)! He only goes to school one night a week, but the remainder of the week is filled with long nights of paper's, quiz's and oh yeah squeezing in study time! It is a little hard to not get to spend that much time with him, but we know it will pay off in the long run.

Easter of 2007

Who new that I could love three men so much! Well, I guess one man and two little men :)! They have all made my life so complete!

I met J.R. almost ten years ago at church. I was still in High School and he was serving in the Marines. I had a boyfriend at the time but mom was doing her best to get rid of that guy fast! She met J.R. and from that point on that's all she wrote! She introduced me to him that Sunday and from that point on you couldn't separate us. We had our ups and downs but love pulled us through. We got married November 23rd, 2001 on the beach. It was a beautiful sun set wedding. Nothing to fancy just my family and some witnesses. Still, a wedding I will never forget. Almost two years later here comes a baby! J.R. was deployed and I went to visit him in Japan. I forgot my birth control and came back pregnant. We were so shocked because this was so not planed. Tristan was born on September 14th, 2003. Weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and at 20 inches long. He was so perfect. Nothing could of made us any happier! Well, that is until little Ayden came along four years later. Ayden was born on January 23rd weighing 6 lbs 15 oz and 19 inches long. God has blessed my life with all three of these men and I am so thankful for that!

Hello everyone! Well, I thought I would try something new and start a blog! A lot of my friends have one and they say they love it and it is so easy to keep up with!
Well, as you all know my name is Tonia and I am married to my wonderful husband of six years. We have two beautiful son's. Our first son is four years old and his name is Tristan Michael Aduddell. Our second son is now a month old and his name is Ayden Lee Aduddell. We live in Oklahoma City for the time being. J.R. is going to school full time at OU and working out at Tinker Air Force Base. He likes it a lot, but feels a little overwhelmed with everything going on at the moment. I am still a stay at home mommy and plan to stay that way until the kid's are in school.
